Luxury home sales slid downward in July not sure if it a late seasonal adjustment or caused by all the turmoil on Wall Street.

The total months of unsold inventory is responding to the increase in buyer activity that Long Island has experienced over the past few months. Both Nassau and Queens are at new one year lows and Suffolk is not to far behind. This trend should continue until November when then seasonal slow down begins.

Buyer Activity Increasing!
Buyer activity is looking strong in all three Long Island counties. Homes going under contract has not hit these numbers since the ending of the home buyer tax credit last year.
