Long Island Real Estate – Total Months of Inventory Increases
All three counties showed an increase in the total months of inventory currently on the market. As you will see in future posts the total amount of homes on the market did decrease across Long Island but so did buyer demand. Buyer activity most likely slowed due to the recent problems on Wall Street causing buyers to have a wait and see attitude. Long Island Realtors have seen a new surge of buyer activity in the past week, which should be demonstrated in next months figures.
